Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security using a time-based one-time password (TOTP).Enabling 2FA
Scan QR code
Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password).
Disabling 2FA
- Go to Settings > Security
- Click Disable 2FA
- Enter a current TOTP code to confirm
Connected Accounts (OAuth)
Link third-party accounts for faster sign-in:| Provider | Description |

Connecting an OAuth provider does not replace your email/password login. Both methods work simultaneously.

If you signed up via OAuth, you may not have a password set. You can add one in Security settings to enable email/password login as a backup.

Any TOTP-compatible app works, including Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, Bitwarden, and Microsoft Authenticator.

Use one of the recovery codes provided during 2FA setup. Each code can only be used once. If you have no recovery codes, contact support@clarife.app.
Can I have multiple OAuth providers connected?
Can I have multiple OAuth providers connected?
Yes. You can connect Google, Apple, and GitHub simultaneously. Any connected provider can be used to sign in.
