What Is the Asset Library?

The asset library is a shared collection of images, logos, icons, and other visual assets that your team can use across documents, exports, and branding configurations. It is separate from document-level screenshots and serves as a centralized media hub.
The asset library is a Business plan feature with a limit of 500 assets.

Managing Assets

ActionDescription
SearchFind assets by filename or tag
DeleteRemove assets you no longer need
PreviewView full-size preview of any asset
Copy URLCopy the asset URL for use in documents
Deleting an asset from the library does not remove it from documents or brandings that already reference it. Those references will show a broken image.

Storage

Assets count toward your workspace’s shared storage quota:
PlanStorageAsset limit
Business100 GB + 5 GB/seat500 assets
Optimize your images before uploading. Compressed PNGs and WebP files help you stay within your storage quota.

Using Assets

Assets from the library can be used in:
  • Branding repository — as logos in branding configurations
  • Document editor — insert from the asset library into screenshot blocks
  • Exports — brand logos on PDF and presentation exports
  • Share pages — custom logos on branded share pages

Individual assets can be up to 10 MB each. For larger files, consider compressing them before uploading.
Only Owners can manage the asset library. Editors, Contributors, and Viewers can use existing assets but cannot upload or delete them.
