How to Cancel

Open billing settings

Go to Settings > Billing in your clarife dashboard.

Click Manage Subscription

This opens the Paddle subscription management portal.

Cancel your subscription

Follow the cancellation flow in the Paddle portal. You may be asked for a reason — this is optional.

Confirmation

You will receive a confirmation email from Paddle. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period.

Cancellation does not delete your account or data. You simply move to the Free plan at the end of your paid period.

Re-Subscribing

You can re-subscribe to any paid plan at any time:
  1. Go to Settings > Billing.
  2. Choose a plan and complete checkout.
  3. Your previous data and documents become fully accessible immediately.
If you re-subscribe within the same billing period (before your current plan expires), you effectively undo the cancellation and keep your plan without interruption.

Refund Policy

Paddle handles all refund requests. If you believe you are entitled to a refund:
  • Contact support@clarife.app with your account email and reason.
  • Refund eligibility is determined on a case-by-case basis per Paddle’s terms of service.
Yearly subscriptions are non-refundable after 14 days from the purchase date, unless required by local consumer protection laws.

No. All your documents, screenshots, and files are preserved. You move to the Free plan with its limits (5 documents, 100 MB, 1 project).
Yes. There is no penalty for cancelling and re-subscribing. Your data remains intact on the Free plan in between.
If you cancel during the 14-day trial, you are not charged. Your account moves to the Free plan when the trial ends.
When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. There is no automatic prorated refund for the remaining time. For exceptional circumstances, contact support.
Account deletion is separate from subscription cancellation. Go to Settings > Account to permanently delete your account and all associated data.
