Accessing settings

Click the tray icon and select Settings (or use the gear icon) to open the companion app settings panel.

General settings

Higher capture quality produces larger file sizes. If storage is a concern, use Standard quality.

Keyboard shortcuts

Configure global keyboard shortcuts for quick capture:

To change shortcuts:

Open Settings

Click the tray icon and select Settings.

Go to Shortcuts tab

Navigate to the Keyboard Shortcuts section.

Record new shortcut

Click the shortcut field and press your desired key combination. The new shortcut is saved immediately.
Make sure your chosen shortcut does not conflict with macOS system shortcuts or other applications. If a conflict exists, the shortcut may not work.

Storage settings

Open Settings and select your preferred language (English or Polish) from the Language dropdown. The change applies immediately — no restart required.
Settings are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/app.clarife.capture/. Deleting this folder resets all settings to defaults.
There is no reset button in the UI. To reset, quit the app, delete the configuration folder, and relaunch.
Ensure the shortcut is not used by another app or macOS. Try a different combination. Also verify that clarife capture has Accessibility permissions in System Settings > Privacy & Security.
