Grace Period
When a subscription payment fails, your account enters a 14-day grace period. During this time:- All your current plan features remain available.
- Paddle will automatically retry the payment.
- You will receive reminder emails to update your payment method.
Dunning Email Timeline
You will receive three email reminders during the grace period:| Day | |

What You See in the App
During the grace period, a red alert banner appears on your billing page showing:- A countdown of days remaining in the grace period
- A button to update your payment method
- A link to the Paddle management portal

In the Paddle portal, update your card or choose a different payment method.
After Automatic Downgrade
If 14 days pass without a successful payment:| What happens | Details |

| Storage | Files preserved but cannot upload beyond 100 MB limit |
| AI credits | Purchased credits are preserved |
You can re-subscribe to a paid plan at any time after a downgrade. Your data is never deleted due to a failed payment.

Common reasons include: expired card, insufficient funds, bank security block, or changed card number. Check with your bank if the issue is unclear.

No. The grace period does not incur additional charges. You only pay your regular subscription amount once the payment succeeds.

Go to Settings > Billing and subscribe to your previous plan. Your data and documents are preserved and will be fully accessible again once the new subscription is active.
